VASCAN
The Fish Squad developed the Vascan range (also available in a clean label version) with the special aim to extend the shelf life of fish. The functional mix of ingredients reduces the overall colony-forming units and stops the growth of pathogens. The Vascan range can be applied in fresh fish, fish products or shellfish. The flavour and natural appearance are preserved, while the shelf life in terms of microbial decay and fat oxidation is optimised.

 

 

PESCAMINE/NATUVAS
For the Pescamine and Natuvas ranges, The Fish Squad used functional ingredients to enhance fresh fish. It yields a bigger return, it reduces drip losses, but it also safeguards the natural appearance and typical fish characteristics such as flavour and aroma. The range offers a host of options in terms of extension, declaration and application (injection/dipping). Naturally, all products can be geared towards the needs, demands and procedures of the fish-processing industry. It is possible to use the Vascan range to create combinations in order to optimise shelf life.

NATUVAS FISH

 

A clean label solution for injecting or dipping fresh fish and shellfish. Natuvas fish contributes to the optimisation of the water-retaining qualities, while the natural properties,such as flavour and appearance, of the fish are preserved.
Thanks to the presence of natural antioxidants, fat oxidation in this innovative range can be prevented.
