What you will be doing:
As a commercial star you will be in strong collaboration with our technical team to bring our innovative concepts to the market. You will be allocated some existing customers and projects. You will start with a market scan of convenience companies and companies actively working on vegetarian products. Together with the team establish the right approach. You have a nose for business. That means you are able to select the right customers with whom we have the right fit, and will work on projects that generate success both for the customers and us.
You will report directly to the commercial director or one of the sales team members, depending on your job level.
Your work environment:
We expect you to actively contribute to the further professionalization and growth of Vaessen-Schoemaker. In addition to the standard duties, we highly appreciate a proactive attitude: you will not only be active in pure sales activities, but create fundamentally sound plans and bases for market communication.
You love building connections with your customers and understand their decision making processes. Furthermore you recognize yourself in the following points:
- Bachelor or master work and intellectual level;
- A business or technical background, and affinity with both;
- You are an early career (2-4 years’ work experience) or ready for the next step in your career (<8 year experience);
- Preferably available for 5 days a week with at least 32 working hours;
- Willing to travel;
- Fluent in English and preferably Dutch, spoken and written, additional languages are a plus (French, German, Spanish);
- Analytical and open minded;
- Being an active, sporty type is a big plus;
- And a “gezellige” team player.
